To enable true autonomous operation, FLEX-FEB has developed an integrated system that includes:

• Capacitive sensors for real-time monitoring of oil content inside the barge
• GPS and AIS tracking for live position updates
• Remotely controlled navigation lights for visual identification
• CCTV camera for situational awareness
• Remote control of the oil skimmer for flexible and responsive operation

All of these functions are accessible through a centralized dashboard, which can be installed on any PC or tablet with an internet connection.
